Palm Inspired Guest Bedroom Design with Samsung
If you’ve been following #LICPhome on Instagram, and here + there on the site, you’ve seen sneak peeks of some of our new home designs since the move to Charleston. Today I’m partnering with Samsung, in celebration of their newest oh-so sleek and chic The Frame TV to share our Palm Guest Bedroom design! It’s honestly the coolest home tech item I’ve come across in our decorating process. Because, let’s be honest, electronics aren’t always ‘cute’.

I wanted our Palm Bedroom to feel almost spa-like, while still being colorful and homey. I plan to incorporate as much PALM as I possibly can: from art and faux trees {because, let’s be honest, I can’t keep anything alive}, to accent pillows and a corresponding shower curtain – I want it all to be palm print focused.

In addition to all the color + texture, we want our visitors to feel the comforts of home. Having a TV in the room was something Sterling and I went back and forth on a little bit, but in the end we’re looking to add Samsung’s The Frame to our guest room. It’s an LED television that’s placed in a super sleek ‘picture frame’ style setting. All the while looking chic, you can place The Frame in ‘art mode’, which allows the screen to display customizable artwork. Whether it’s a family photo, a picture from a recent trip you took, or pre-loaded landscapes. The interchangeable beset is available in 4 colors {white, natural, mahogany and black}, so The Frame will blend extremely well with any home decor style. While we’d opt for the white look to flow with the modern decor concept, mahogany would be beautiful in a more traditional room setting. Such a fun mix up from your usual chunky, black, eye sore TV, no?!
