Tiered, pink + twirl able – a trifecta if I’ve ever heard of one! I wore this pretty little Tiered Pink Maxi Dress number on Espanola Way {one of the most charming of streets in Miami} during Miami Swim weekend before last. Even with all the layers {which are a pain in the butt to steam out FYI haha}, the fabric is super light + airy. Perfect for the heat + humidity that defines summers in Miami.

I feel like I’ve said this the past couple years, but I think this will be my last and final year to attend Miami Swim Week – see previous coverage here. Never say never I guess though, haha. But being back in South Florida {where Sterling + I lived for the past 6 years, prior to moving to South Carolina}, it just made me appreciate our new home in Charleston that much more. There are certain things about South FL I do not miss in the slightest, and I feel ok being able to say that now. I’ve never missed ‘home’ so much! I seriously could not wait to get back on a plane and fly HOME. Which sounds crazy, even to me, because I’ve always been one to hop on last minute trip. But nowadays I find myself content just being home and relaxing with Sterling + Parker {love my boys}. Guess this is also a sign I’m getting old? Perhaps. And I’m ok with that!
Nonetheless – it was fun to check out new some resort + swim trends, hang out with old friends, and eat good Cuban food {that I will say I’ve missed}.
