Winter whites are always fun to play with, but today I wanted to mix that concept up a bit by doing more of an off-white {ivory or cream} paired with stark white. I know some of you may be gasping in your seats thinking ‘what, you can’t mix these two’. But fashion is all about having fun and trying new things, so why not?! The textures and color palette are similar enough that it flows.mixing-ivory-and-white-outfit mixing-ivory-and-white-outfitmixing-ivory-and-white-outfit

Speaking of playing with fashion {smooth transition right?! haha}, have y’all checked out Poshmark yet?! For those of you who know me well, I’m going to sound like a broken record, but you NEED to check out this app. Every woman, ever, has items in their closet that are just sitting there collecting dust. You know, that dress you haven’t worn since two Christmas’ ago. Or the sweater that’s just a little too snug now, but you’re holding on until you ‘loose weight’. Let goooo. And hey – make room for new, pretty things!

Poshmark is basically an app {for android + iPhone} that cuts out the middle man {consignment shop, Plato’s Closet type places} of re-selling wardrobe items. Anything from shoes and handbags, to skirts and dresses are eligible to buy and sell. I’ve been using the app to sell items {many of which are seen styled here on LICP!} for over 2 years now, and absolutely love it! I won’t use anything else. It’s easy to use, I don’t have to worry about shipping costs or labels – it’s fantastic.

I’ll share a little secret when it comes to my ‘Posh closet’ – when I first starting selling items, I would just take the money and use it towards newer pieces I was lusting over. Now, I actually keep the money in my PM account {until I choose to cash out} and let it build towards a specific goal. For example: last year’s flight to Tokyo, Japan. $4 here, $12 there adds up quickly, and I was able to save up solely via my Poshmark selling to buy the plane ticket! This year, I’m saving for a flight to Europe! Not that you have to save up for plane tickets to travel around the world, but that’s just to show that it’s a great way to actually make real money on things you aren’t using. poshmark-app-review

That all being said, I honestly cannot speak highly enough about Poshmark’s user friendly app. Literally millions of women are currently buying, selling, and ‘sharing’ on PM – so GET ON IT + make some dough on those old clothes!
