Floral for spring…groundbreaking, I know. But you know what – if it’s working for you, don’t shift, right?! I think it’s safe to say, I’m a pretty consistent fan of florals haha. From my own staircase wallpaper, to my office, strolls around Hampton Park and tablescapes. Flowers bring me joy, so it’s only natural to surround oneself with that which inspires!
Gals Meets Glam’s first drop for their March collection, may be my favorite yet. I know I know, I’ve said that before, but they just kill it. This gingham number had to me at CHECK {y’all will see me style that one on the blog shortly!}, and this floral print maxi dress was just oozing all the spring feels. I’ll be honest, maxis are sometimes tough for me. I’m short, with a short torso, so long clothing items are hard to find. Usually they involve a trip to the tailor. Which isn’t the worst thing ever, just a little extra hassle. However, the more I get my hands on GMG pieces, the more I’m finding dresses that truly do fit me perfectly. When the line first launched without petite sizing, I still liked certain styles, but since the expansion of petite options, I’ve found the fit spot on.
I had every intention of wearing this pretty floral print maxi dress to a collection launch dinner with Brahmin at The Skinny Dip. Plans which were de-railed day of due to chillier temps then I had planned for. But, for the sake of this post, let’s just pretend, shall we? Haha. Naturally, had to bring my new Brahmin Evie bag along for the evening {which I still did…just paired with a coast and scarf instead}.
