Strolling in Downtown Charleston | Dusty Blue Color Palette

From orange and sage green, to today’s dusty blue color palette, here’s another installment of Color Crush Tuesday! And quit possibly becoming my new favorite series over here.

As we sink deeper into fall, our wardrobes often shift to neutrals: creams, browns, tans, etc. And our holiday decor to possibly the same {or whatever strikes your fancy}. And while I love a good neutral, y’all know I really love my color. Incorporating transitional + seasonally appropriate color into my wardrobe choices year round is something I’ve always enjoyed. Not to mention it keeps your closet shoppable throughout multiple seasons. A dusty color palette is something I feel transitions quit well from fall to winter. So, without further ado I’m sharing a collection of beautiful pieces for your wardrobe or home, inspired by this rich hue.

Ever since I scooped this button-up dress during the seasonal Shopbop sale, I haven’t been able to stop wearing it! It’s your classic house dress in the sense that it’s incredibly comfortable, but I love the way it’s more cinched below the bust. This slight modification gives you just a bit more shape, while still maintaining a comfy outfit. From Napa to the streets of Downtown Charleston, I’ve been loving this dress paired with heels, sneakers and loafers.

A dusty blue palette for the home just oozes cozy comfort! It’s a hue I’d love to incorporate a bit more around our home. Love it for a rich powder room {maybe paired with brushed bronze hardware} or a full built-in wall. Complete with colored trim and walls, similar to the above inspiration image. Would also be stunning as throw pillows in the formal living, or euro shams for a guest room.

Any requests for future color crush posts?! I’m kind of thinking mustard while it’s still fall – or it it too late into November for that? Maybe Christmas red?! Let me know what y’all think!
