Winter is in full swing all around the country, from Charleston snow to the ‘Bomb Blizzard’ it’s looking like winter has officially arrived. I personally love it. Living in the South, our winters are always super mild, so having a little bit of that Colorado flair come this way was pretty fun.
Aside from snow and ice, there’s something that just screams winter when it comes to fair isle sweaters. Fair Isle style actually oriented in tiny isle north of Scotland, made famous by the Prince of Wales in the 1920s with his oh-so-stylish fashion choices. And as we all well know, we American loves the Brits and all they do. I mean, hello…Meghan Marcel and Prince Harry obsessed much? The rumor mill headlines are keeping things quite comical in the grocery check-out lines these days.
Anyhow, it’s a style I’ve personally loved for a while and typically reserve it for Christmas, but this year I’m really loving it for all things winter-feels! This burgundy fair isle sweater I’m wearing is selling out like crazy, but the same style is still available in a few other coloways. I’m also loving this J Crew beige fair isle sweater option with a little flair sleeve – how fun?!
While I’m basking in this winter wonderland, I’m kind of getting that travel itch to head somewhere warm. Do y’all have any fun resort trips planned?!
