Happy Monday, y’all + hooray for a new week! Right?! Maybe? Haha. I spent this past weekend in Greensboro, NC {my first visit} for my girl Emily‘s wedding! Weddings give me all the feels, and it was truly amazing to see two people in love commit themselves to one another.
Thankfully the weather this week is looking up {whoop whoop}, but nevertheless some rainy day inspiration is always in order. Especially for parts of the country that experience lots of rain year round {insert – my days in Miami}. This dusty rose pink trench coat is the perfect example of stylish, yet practical. I don’t believe the fabric is completely waterproof, but it is repellent and has a decent weight to it to keep you warm.
I paired this dusty rose pink trench coat with a matching rose pink tee for a monochromatic ensemble. And added pops of black to compliment. I’ll admit, Rachel and I DID select this location {at the iconic Mills House} to pair perfectly with the look. It’s so good right!?
Are ya’ll still loving the blush pink trend, or over it?? I’ve never been a huge pink girl, which may come as a shock to some of you, considering the amount of it I’ve been wearing lately! But it’s true. Yellow has always been my favorite hue, although it’s typically a little tougher for most to wear. Therefore I find myself constantly drawn to shades of blue and sharing those looks with y’all on the regular. But this year, I’ve found myself loving the ‘dusty’ version of pink that’s everywhere! I can’t do super pale/pastel pink, and I do love a good hot pink number here and there, but dusty rose can do no wrong.
