Soft hues, scalloped edges, perfectly balanced glassware – sign. me. up. Y’all know I appreciate beautiful tabletop. So when I had the opportunity to partner with Kate Spade New York {one of my all-time favorites}, I was thrilled to play with their tabletop pieces for an afternoon brunch spread. The brand’s whimsical designs paired beautifully with our English garden inspired courtyard and stone dining table
Good brunch certainly isn’t lacking in Charleston, but The Blue Root has absolutely become a local favorite of mine! Melissa is a true genius when it comes to homemade bread. Zucchini bread is her specialty, and my goodness, it’s delicious. She offers seasonal offerings, along with a few staple loaves {including my personal favorite: Banana Zucchini}. In addition to bread, she also offers an incredible ‘All Things Brunch’ spread that’s perfection for small gatherings! This is the second time I’ve ordered this spread, and know it won’t be the last. The assortment of carbs, fresh fruit, quiche + meats is the perfect combination to please everyone at your gathering.
Since my Mom + sister were visiting this past week, having The Blue Root step in provide a yummy {and beautiful} spread was great. It allowed me not to worry about making reservations or leaving our home during this strange time. And also provided some extra nibbles for us throughout week! I’m all about delegating what you don’t enjoy, or aren’t good at {i.e. cooking for me}. Especially when you may have guests in town. If you’re local to the Charleston area, I truly can’t recommend enough! This is not sponsored at all – just supporting and spreading the word about a brand I truly love!
