Southern Charm meets Miami

Southern charm has made its way to Miami y’all! And if you can’t tell from the above – I couldn’t be more thrilled! Last week I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening celebration of J.McLaughlin‘s 100th store launching right here in Miami {5819 Sunset Drive | South Miami, FL 33147 to be exact}. The evening was full of rose, a macaroon or three + well dressed company – my kind of evening!

The newest location added to the brand’s growing portfolio is quaint, but decorated + accessorized to perfection. Think vibrant prints, seersucker shorts, linen button downs, lacey skirts, eyelet shorts, wicker totes – ahhh, the list goes on and on. A few personal favorites around the store {+ online} include the Marlowe Dress {what I sported at the event}, Palm River Hat, their stunning selection of Printed/Patterned Scarves + last but not least, this adorable Lace Two-Piece number. Seriously cannot wait to get my hands on that last pick for summer! The staff is so incredibly sweet, friendly + helpful {not always the norm in town}, which lends to more of an intimate shopping experience. From a female perspective, I will say the sizes tend to run a bit large {considering the store’s sizing is set-up in women’s sizing}, so I’d recommend swinging into your local store {hey hey Miamians!} to try on.
