Check out what I wore to a recent luncheon at the Mondrain Miami! Lunching and brunching oceanside are standard blogger fixes here in the M.I.A. {so blessed} however lunching on some finely crafted dishwater alongside a stunning view, now that’s a rarity! Not top long ago myself, along with a select group of local tastemakers, had the privilege of meeting with the Corelle staff to learn about the latest products by Corelle, and of course…eat. I normally don’t put too much thought into my dish-ware {hey as long as it’s cute}, however after being educated about the differences in texture, durably, and weight alone…it’s got me thinking.

nice & cool, love it …. mobil sedan corolla

Just wondering if you picked a winner for the new dish set?

Thanks love!

that tiffany blue looks great on you!
and, um, my dishes are ok I guess, except I’ve had them since college and am ready for a more sophisticated upgrade!

You look so pretty! I love your necklace. I love half of my dishes – haha! They are black & red, and more of a handmade dish feel which is really nice. The other half I really don’t like – they feel cheap and icky. I’d love a new set of those gorgeous dishes! Would be an awesome 6 month wedding anniversary treat! πŸ™‚

What a cuter dress. Love how you styled it with the white blazer. Great blog!!

If you get a sec. please check out my latest post. I would love to read your feedback.

I don’t like my dishes because they are old ugly hand me downs from my parents

My current dishes were given to me by my mom. They are pretty ugly lol. They have bright flowers on them and they are pretty chipped. I would love these beautiful dishes for my new place. Thank you!

That blue dress is beautiful and pops nicely against the white blazer and neutral colored shoes. — SC at http://www.samanthachic.com

I love just everything about this outfit! Very beautiful! And the necklace looks like a part of the dress, nice detail.

That dress is a dream! I would LOVE some fabulous new dishes. I’m getting ready to leave my parents’ home post-college to move to NYC–following the dream– and I don’t actually have dishes to take with me! Oops? You can eat ramen out of Tupperware, right?

I thought I really loved my dishes (from Crate and Barrel) but when we lived in our old apartment, the dishwasher got too hot and cracked half of our dishes. The line we purchased was then discontinued and we have mixed sets of dishes. I really wish all of our dishes matched– it would be a dream come true! I know, it’s nerdy, but it’s true!

Sara…if you google you might be able to find a website that carries your discontinued dishes. My Mom did this when some of her everyday wedgewood dishes broke & the platter she wanted had been discontinued. I can’t remember the site she used but if you know the name of your dishes it should be possible!!!! Happy Hunting!

I love Corelle! I have a set of Cornflower from 1979 that we still use. Now it’s time to hand these down and get some new ones!

Your dress is such a pretty colour on you. Love the baby blue.

Love your look hun! That color looks great with ur blonde doll hair! About my dishes… well I have Corelle! Loved them and have survived 2 children but with my growing family and always visiting family, I don’t have a big enough set!
I would love to be able to have these in addition to the set I already have!

the swept pattern is so cool! i love my current dishes because i have so many different styles and colors that i can mix it up all the time.

Adorable!! Love the mint and mint necklace.

So pretty and summery!

You have had the best giveaways lately! First off, love the dress/blazer combo (perfect for a lunch date!)

Secondly, JUST this weekend I was perusing different sites for the perfect white dishes. Currently mine are red/black… and I LOVE cooking but when you photograph food on red dishes…. well, it doesnt do it any justice! Would love to start fresh with some beautiful white dishes!

xx!

Hmm what don’t I love about my current dishes??….well I can start off with telling you that they are pretty non-existant. I moved into my grandmother’s house a few years after she passed away and have been slowly trying to accumulate my own household items and get rid of all of the 25+ yr old ones. None of my dishes match and if they arent chipped then they all have a funny yellow tinge from years of being washed in well water. Would LOVE to be able to have my first official set of Corelle to call my own. I’m in love with the Cherish collection.

My dishes are not nearly as nice as these, so that’s what I don’t love about them!! πŸ™‚

I hope you’ll keep an eye out on my blog later today. I’ll be featuring this as one of the looks I love today.

Super Cute and you look Beautiful!!

Love this outfit! Your obsession with mint continues πŸ™‚

What don’t I love about my current dishes? They don’t exist! My old roommate had supplied the dishes for our apartment so I didn’t need to get a set. But now that I’m going to be moving soon, I need a nice set of my own!

This color is gorgeous on you!! I love the necklace and wedges you styled your dress with too!

I desperately need a white blazer! It’s so quintessential! I’d love to get the dish set since I currently own two plates living the single life lol! – http://www.katelyngreer.com

What a pretty look! Especially love that necklace and your wedges – not to mention, the color of your dress.

I recently moved and had to give away my dishes, so I am sad that I don’t have new ones yet. These would be perfect!

I have Corelle now, and I LOVE them, but i want something prettier.

Thanks for the chance!

Loving your beautiful mint dress and wedges! My dishes are ok but I was just telling my mom that we need a new set!! Haha

I love my new dishes, but unfortunately the kids are able to break them πŸ™

Hi Paula, you def won’t have that problem with Corelle! They’re super chip and break resistant…witnessed first hand πŸ™‚

Beautiful dress! The color is perfect πŸ™‚

Gorgeous! Love that necklace! My dishes on the other hand are ugly red, sushi looking ones that my boyfriend and I picked out when we first moved in together. The biggest problem with them however is that they are square and do not fit in our microwave! πŸ™‚
xoxo

My dishes were given to my parents for their wedding 30 years ago this October. They have sentimental value, but are chipping and starting to look quite old! It would be nice to have my own set of plates πŸ™‚

My current dishware set are two sets mix matched together… it’s time to get one collective set!
