Beau & Ro | Charleston, SC Boutique

It may not be ‘Small Business Saturday’, but every day is a good day to support small! As a small business owner myself, I’m passionate about discovering and sharing smaller brands I love. It’s inspiring to see them grow, evolve and pivot.

One such brand that’s near and dear to my heart is Beau & Ro. My close friend Sara Rossi founded Beau & Ro in 2014 with her signature convertible belt bag. Since then, the brand has expanded into an all-encompassing line that includes artist collaborations and globally sourced products. Think handbags, earrings, shoes and clothing {coming soon}! Beau & Ro takes great pride in American craftsmanship, but also sources seasonal bags from artisans around the world to create a dynamic collection. You may remember the two of us traveled to Colombia last December in search of those very products!

It’s truly been inspiring to see Sara in her element and support her many business endeavors along the way. From co-founding The Skinny Dip in Nantucket, Charleston and Palm Beach, to recently opening her very own storefront in our hometown! This gal is a rockstar. She’s an incredible business woman, hard worker, go-getter {like seriously…get’s it done, whatever it takes} and innovator. I’m so excited to partner with her for today’s #HOLIDAYbyK giveaway, but even more so, proud to call her a friend.

NINE SMALL BUSINESSES TO SUPPORT/SHOP

Continuing on the small business love train, here are a few additional brands + there products I love! Don’t get me wrong, I couldn’t do without ASOS and Shopbop, but I hope this helps inspire a few of you to support local, support small and engage with new-to-you brands!

  1. Beau & Ro | In addition to the above, of all B&R products, I have to say the earrings are my favorite. They’re such a unique statement at great price points. Being able to meet and speak with the artisans in Colombia that handmade these pieces was just incredible. They’re just so darn talented, and I like knowing that purchase is helping provide them a livelihood.
  2. Amanda Lindroth | Y’all now I adore adding texture to a dining or coffee table. Lindroth Designs has been a favorite for years, but after their store opened in Charleston I’m even more of a fan! Seeing + touching their products in person makes you appreciate the design and craftsmanship even more. Not to mention, Amanda herself {and her entire team} is just the loveliest human! Best hostess, with alllllll the tips + tricks.
  3. Nicola Bathie | Some of the prettiest, most elegant and well made earrings I own! Seriously. Each of her pieces is more stunning then the next. I especially love my mother of pearl flower posts, but also have a couple special pieces on my wish list – like these golden flower and teardrop beauties.
  4. Hampden Clothing | Whether you’re local or not, Hampden carries the best designer shoe collection around. Think Nickolas Kirkwood, Loeffler Randall, Tabitha Simmons…ahhh so many goodies. I love Stacy’s picks season after season, plus inventory is shoppable online as well!
  5. ChappyWrap | A crowd pleasure + family favorite around here! I worked with this darling Mother/Daughter duo for the first time last year, and have fallen further in love with the brand. Not only for their blankets {which, are THE BEST}, but also in part due to their mission and the kindness that oozes from Beth and Christina themselves! Getting to know them and hearing their vision, it’s really clear how much love and passion they put into this growing family business. Great family gift!
  6. Zojora | I can’t remember exactly how I came across Zojora’s tabletop items, but it was an instant attraction. They have an incredible selection of limited quantity block print napkins that will liven up your table. I have several prints on my own Christmas wish list this year!
  7. Weezie Towels | Hands down, their terry short sleeve robe is my most favorite robe of all time. It’s the coziest, without making me hot while I get ready! And don’t get me started on the beach towels. HOLY. GOODNESS.
  8. Crew LaLa | If you’re a fur Momma, you need to get your baby a little Crew LaLa! American made, they have the cutest selection of dog + cat collars, bowties and bandanas. Parker is more of a bandana man, but they’re all just the cutest.
  9. LAKE Pajamas | Worth every penny. Their pima cotton pajamas are incredible. I own 3 pairs and wish I could just switch out my entire PJ drawer to LAKE.
