Giuliana Rancic Oscars 2012

Giuliana Rancic in BASIL SODA
AH. The E! host is stunning in this beaded gown by Lebanese designer BASIL SODA.
The tiny feminine details and neckline stood out in a crowd of plain Jane’s.

Gwyneth Paltrow Oscars 2012Gwyneth Paltrow in TOM FORD
Get it Girl! Gwyneth went for it in this WHITE HOT cape look by TOM FORD. She pulled it off perfectly. Even as she presented an Academy Award without the cape, the simple clean silhouette suits her beautifully. Well done.

Milla Jovovich Oscars 2012

Milla Jovovich in ELIE SAAB
I love the asymmetrical lines of this gown. Always a fan of liquid beading.

Octavia Spencer Oscars 2012

Octavia Spencer in TADASHI SHOJI
Awarded an Oscar for ‘best supporting actress’ for her role in The Help. I think she pulled off a double win with this hip hugging gown and the gold! Oh we love you Milly.

It’s no surprise that I love me some award show fashion, however I’ll be honest and say I wasn’t WOWED this year with the Oscar looks {yes, I said it. sorry I’m not sorry.}. However,  with that being said – there were some beautiful gowns this evening that should be highlighted. Just simply not OSCAR worthy, in my opinion.

TREND ALERT: Classic Black and White dresses floated down the red carpet prior to the 84th Annual Academy Awards. Angelina Jolie, Kelly Osbourne, and Anna Faris chose classic black silhouettes, while Giuliana Rancic, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Milla Jovovich glowed in stunning white hot looks {my personal fav}.
