Next week – how is Thanksgiving NEXT WEEK?! My head is spinning. However, in the spirit of the upcoming festivities, I’m excited to share this beautiful lilac + burgundy Thanksgiving tablescape I put together a couple weeks ago. Throughout the years, I’ve loved using potted plants as centerpieces, mixing hues of greens + blues, and using food as the focal point. But this year, I’ve really be drawn to moodier florals and tones of deep rose, burgundy, brown – even a little black. Who am I?! So I was excited to bring this combination to life!
I layered this table in hues befitting fall – such as orange + mustard. Along with some less expected color like lilac + sage green. This turned out a little brighter and cheerier than I originally planned, but I love how all the colors work together cohesively! The pale purple tablecloth served as a beautiful, soft base for this lilac + burgundy Thanksgiving tablescape {which will transition perfectly into spring/summer entertaining}. While the richer florals by local, Charleston florist Petaloso, alongside solid brass candlesticks and burgundy tapers help ground the place settings.
Thanksgiving Glassware
Glassware is, and will forever be, my favorite item on a table to swap out. The glassware you select for your Thanksgiving table helps set the tone for your gathering. From vintage + colorful, to formal + classic, to fun + funky! There’s no wrong route. A few of my favorite glassware spots to shop include: Williams Sonoma, Estelle, and Elizabeth Stuart {locally}.
