Earlier this year, we finally furnished the porch off our master bedroom. Little did I know what an ongoing blessing that would be after months of being home so much more. We spend countless hours in this space; just hanging out and catching up on the day, playing games, reading, sipping coffee/tea and occasionally having an informal meal with friends. It’s the perfect nook! Bed, Bath & Beyond has graciously partnered with me again on this space to spruce it up with a little holiday porch decor! And oh-what-fun I had pulling from their Cozy Backyard Holiday Collection.
Holiday Porch Decor
When I’m decorating our outdoor spaces for the holidays, I typically try to keep things pretty simple + classic. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE pulling out our holiday decor this time of year, but as I think we can all relate – it’s work. Haha. So I think through what areas receive the most attention, and which need just a little spruce here + there. Bed, Bath & Beyond has some great {easy set-up} pieces that gave this space just the right amount of cheer, without going overboard. Those little touches go a long way in my opinion. I opted to incorporate these lightly flocked, pre-lit wreaths {may add a bow in future, but for now love how they twinkle at nigh on their own}. And adore how these pre-lit mini porch trees flank the door. They would also be so cute pre-planted in larger platers/pots to match any theme! I envision maybe adding bows or even fresh fruit to these in future years. Would be s cute, right?!
Entertaining Piece for the Holidays
Bed, Bath & Beyond has an unbelievable selection of holiday themed tabletop pieces for all your entertaining needs. I’m talking thousands of pieces for Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year’s – you name it! Including a range of affordable, everyday lines like Bee & Willow, to luxury, collectable brands like Wedgewood and Spode. Of course we’ll all be ‘entertaining’ a bit differently this year, but I’m a firm believer in still keeping things a bit festive. Which will inevitably add some cheerfulness to the mix. Because, in my experience, no one can resist a cinnamon roll and spiced chai latte served up on a {literal} Christmas tree platter!
Here are a few favorite pieces to pair alongside with your holiday porch decor, if you’re able to host a couple friends/family this holiday season. Or hey – just have an intimate breakfast for two.
