Happy Monday, friends! I’m so excited to slowly rollout bits + pieces of our new home with y’all. If you’ve been following our renovation journey, you know it’s been quite the process. But now that we’re in, I can without a doubt say – it’s all been worth it. Even though there are still items that need to be tackled {delayed hardware and furniture, fridge/freezer panels, landscaping, exterior paint, etc etc}, this space truly does feel like HOME. I walk downstairs every morning and am greeted with colorful walls, cheery patterns and cozy spaces that were thoughtfully designed by US. To fit our needs, our lifestyle, and dreams for our future in this home. I can’t fully put into words how that feels after being in flux for so long…but it’s incredible.
So today, I’m honored to kick off my 2022 Ambassadorship {three years running; wahooo} with Yankee Candle to share this sweet nook in our bar area! This space is quite special for me, as I collaborated closely with an artist to create these hand painted delft tiles that bring an old world feel to the home that I knew it needed. From the wood top to the floral motif tile, to the topiaries and candle – this corner just oozes English countryside, in the best way. Need we forget my love for The Cotswolds. I can’t wait to swap out fresh herbs and fruit seasonally, and let this corner really shine as an inviting space in our home. I’ll be sharing more detail about the tile production, cabinet colors, hardware, sources for glassware and such at a later date! Today is just a peek.
Candles offer so much in the way of making a home feel cozy. From the fragrance, to the warm glow of the flame. I’ve never not burning candles in pretty much every room of our home, always. Who’s with me?
We all know and love Yankee Candle’s iconic tumblers and seasonal labels, however I absolutely adore this new collection they launched this year! The glass container is such a beautiful shape, and the labeling so minimal + chic to suite absolutely any home decor style. I hope it’s a style they continue for years to come! I received a package with 6 collection fragrances, and can honestly say I love them all! Which, truthfully, does not happen often haha. They’re all perfectly subtle, while fully embodying their namesake title. I’m featuring the Warm Luxe Cashmere fragrance {found exclusively at Target}, which has a little bit of an earthiness to it that I find fitting for these chiller winter months.
