I have always loved Nautical themed anything really. There’s something that draws me toward the complementing shades of blues, red, and white…along with the traditional tie-in with anchors, boats, and all things sailor-ish. A couple days ago I snagged these amazing navy crop pants {my go-to style for hot work days, which is basically everyday} at the J Crew outlet! Not only were they randomly an additional 40% off, but I was also able to use my ‘student discount’
{haha I’m milking that student I.D. as long as possible}!

I instantly wanted to put together a comfy, work appropriate, Nautical ensemble that would be perfect for summer. I paired them with an oldie, but goodie, burnt out anchor tank I got in NYC years ago and added a simple white cardi for ‘office coverage’. Added some nice, and not too in-your-face, pops of red for my pout and heels and BAM. Nautical to the T.

&& check out that Oliva + Joy purse again, getting some use out of it after all!
