A couple weeks ago I was given the opportunity to indulge myself at ELLE Spa, located at Eden Roc on Miami Beach.
Let me tell you, it was heavenly…no, but seriously.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by attentive staff members and escorted to their Relaxation Room, lined by full length windows overlooking the pool and garden area and full of lush seating, the name didn’t do it justice. I Sipped chamomile tea with my fellow blogger babes and enjoyed a stress relieving foot massage before being whisked away for treatments.

I chose the Ultimate Glow Facial, designed for ELLE Spa by beauty expert Tammy Fender {whom I actually met in person later that day for a pow-wow about holistic living}. With essential oils smelling of lemon, rosemary, and lavender {who am I, I usually hate lavender?!} my face felt refreshed and rejuvenated. I’ve always shied away from facials, being too nervous of post-treatment redness or the possibly of having a back reaction to products. It was just the opposite thanks to the experts at ELLE Spa. My experience was seamless and my face continued to feel smooth even days after the treatment. I also indulged in the Total Relaxation Massage which was incredible. I’m a sucker for massages, but when you experience a good one it’s a real treat.

Note: when you’re at a spa day be sure to stay extremely hydrated in between sessions.

Prior to our afternoon lunch, the ladies and I listened to Tammy Fender gush about her love of Holistic living and how she incorporates those principles into her company philosophy. I was actually very familiar with her products prior to meeting Ms. Fender, but hearing her in person was eye opening. All of her products are 100% botanical based and enriched with food grade ingredients along with clinical grade essential oils – no artificial fillers here! Not to mention the formulas are stored in amber glass in order to preserve the lifespan of natural ingredients and prevent toxics from weakening its effectiveness.

Wrapping up the afternoon with a lite lunch on the pool terrace in private cabanas {yes, even equipped with TV’s – game time anyone?} was the perfect ending to a relaxing morning. I’m already planning my next mini getaway!
