Shoesday Tuesday | The Nudist

Every women needs a pair of simple, sophisticated heeled sandals in her wardrobe; they’re versatile and stand the test of ‘seasonal trends’. After having worn a pair of similar Steve Madden’s {literally} down to the metal within the heels, I figured it was maybe time for an upgrade in the shoe department {plus, they no longer make that style}. Prior to making the purchase, I attempted to make-it-work with a few lower price point options: the Stecy {so freakin’ uncomfortable} + the Gea {not as many color options}. Seeing The Nudist everywhere on blogs I read frequently I thought I’d give them a shot {mind you, after months of back + forth since they’re a bit pricey}. I can’t say enough positive things about the Nudist: it’s elegant, elongates the legs – like whoa – it’s comfortable {ok, it’s still a 4 1/2″ heel} for those who are used to wearing heels, and while it’s definitely a higher price point – it’s totally worth it.

One thing to keep in mind: Stuart Weizman rarely goes on sale. He’s always one of the few brands restricted from site-side markdowns, so if you’re debating when to buy, you pretty much just have to take the plunge. You may get lucky purchasing from Amazon, or used sites {but keep return policies in mind}.
