This past weekend I popped up to Atlanta for an amazing opportunity; attending + speaking at Atlanta Apparel’s Market at AmericasMart! I had the honor of speaking on a ‘growing your business’ panel with several other blogger babes – Grace of A Southern Drawl, Beth of Seersucker + Saddles, Megan of Lush to Blush and Michelle of Tres Carman Boutique. We chatted about how to grow your business by working with bloggers/influencers. It’s always fun to educate people on what it is that I do {you know, this whole ‘blogging thing’}, but it’s even more rewarding when I’m able to talk with people that truly care + are eager to learn and understand the industry. The audience was so engaged! We rounded out the evening with a fashion show/cocktail party + of course a little local ATL Friday fun.

The following day, we indulged in a southern brunch {bring on the sweet tea} while chatting all things affiliate marketing. Followed by a ‘blogger crawl’ walk-thru of the mart. Talk about an experience! 15 floors in total, of nothing but fashionnnn! I seriously don’t know how these buyers do it! Some floors technically weren’t open {‘special occasion’/’wedding’}, and others are considered permanent showrooms, but it was all glorious. Talk about keeping your head on a swivel…so much to see…We concluded the night/trip with a cocktail party hosted by Reeves & Company – a killer Dallas/Atlanta based showroom {along with the sweetest owners/staff}. It was great to see some of the lines they carry in person – like KUT From the Kloth, Bobeau, Le Motto + Yumi {where my darling scarf is from}!

It may have been a quick trip, but definitely a memorable one. If you ever have the opportunity to take a visit during one of the AmerciasMart Markets, it’s totally worth it.shop the look_800
