From sunny Mexico, to that Charleston chill. Back to sweaters + coats I go. I just got back from Cabo a couple days ago, spent 3 quick nights in Charleston {so good to be home!}, and am back in Florida for the week with Sterling. I have to admit, Cabo was wonderful, but I actually really do love the Charleston winter temps. They’re justtttt right for me. Not too cold, but enough chill to feel comfortable getting all cozied up in oversized sweaters, coats and scarves {like this pink check scarf number}.
It’s funny, I truly don’t consider myself a ‘pink girl’, but the last year I’ve really been into all the pinks. Blush Pink, Peony Pink, Hot Pink, Light Pink – you name it! Maybe Charleston, and all its’ rosé hues, is rubbing off on me! This pink check scarf was just too good to pass up. I scored it 40% off as well, so hello – welcome to my wardrobe.
One of my favorite color combos is pink + camel. When done correctly, the two soft hues should really play well off one another and have a pretty neutral feel to the look. In all transparency, I originally wanted to pair this with dark wash denim jeans, but totally forgot to throw them in the car on shoot day. Whoops! But in the end, I love how the black skinnies provide a nice, harsh contrast.

We had a snowstorm last week, and the temps are still pretty chilly here in the Northeast. consequently, this scarf would still get a lot of use right now. too bad it’s out of stock right now.
Happy Saturday kristin!
