Happy Monday, y’all! I’m thrilled to report it’s officially fall in Charleston folks! Not that all of you care too terribly much about that, but it’s been quite eventful in this little corner of the world. Haha. But really – who doesn’t appreciate these few transitional weeks?! Perfect temps, changing leaves {well, sometimes}, and all with the excitement of holidays approaching. Ahh I could squeal!
I’m trying to take full advantage of this perfect weather before it turns full on winter on us. This weekend I did a little porch decorating {bring on the mums}, co-hosted a baby shower, attempted to get caught up on work {sans laptop…what a pain}, and got some quality friend time in. I’d say it was a goodie.
Let’s talk about this dress though, shall we? While jeans and chunky knits are typically my M-O for fall, this Gal Meets Glam Collection satin halter dress just couldn’t be passed by! The color alone is just stunning: a rich rust {or that’s what I would call it} that has the perfect amount of sheen. The dress itself may be sleeveless, but the fabric has a good weight to it. Would be perfect for a fancier Thanksgiving or fall wedding. If you haven’t checked out Julia’s pieces, don’t wait. I’ve purchased a few of her designs myself, and have been thoroughly impressed with the silhouettes and quality. Her most recent collection is actually my favorite to date! The addition of this jumpsuit was just genius, and I also scooped up this pretty number. Can’t wait to style them both for fall/winter festivities!
What are y’all loving most about fall?!
