I’m so excited to share some of the stunning images I captured during my recent fall trip to Colorado! I hadn’t been back to my home state during the fall season for years – between being away at college, then continuing to live in FL for some time thereafter, I typically kept my visits to summer + winter. Ahhh, but to be back for fall was a DREAM.
I’ll be sharing a full itinerary of the 2 day mountain drive in the coming days. It was quick, but didn’t feel like it. We really packed it all in! Today I’m sharing the sweetest farm we found in Montrose, Colorado – Covered Bridge Ranch. Over the years, the owners of Covered Bridge Ranch have done an amazing job making the farm a true experience – for adults and children alike!
When we arrived to the farm, we originally thought we’d just walk around for about 30 mins, take some photos and enjoy a proper pumpkin patch. Something that’s severely lacking in Florida, and even South Carolina. Nothing quite compares to fall in the midwest or the northeast {still on my bucket list!}. But Mom, Katie + I were pleasantly surprised to find so much more than pumpkins at Covered Bridge Ranch! We enjoyed the petting zoo {along with getting spit on by an angry llama…joy}, roasting marshmallows, hay maze and of course taking LOTS of fun pictures. It was the perfect fall afternoon.
photos by myself + my sweet little sister
