Possibly an unexpected color combo for fall, but it’s no secret I love all things blue + green! I entertain with this color duo year round, so thought it would be fitting to put together a blue and green Thanksgiving table to show how y’all can also stretch your spring/summer pieces into fall!
Woven Tabletop Pieces
My favorite way to add texture to any spread is including a few woven elements. From placemats + chargers, to vases and votive hurricanes, it’s not tough to find a few pieces to include from various retailers. And these items will be pieces you can incorporate year round! You can see how I’ve used woven tabletop for spring brunch, summer citrus shower, fall charcuterie + Christmas. Amanda Lindroth is always my go-to for pieces in this category!
Oh My Gourd
Haha had to. So when I was thinking through ways to ‘fallify’ this blue and green Thanksgiving table, bringing in pumpkins gourds seemed the most fitting. They’re a really cost effective way to spruce your table and make it feel festive! Stop by your local grocery or Trader Joe’s, and minis will cost you less than $1/each. I loved mixing in different sizes, shapes + colors around this table {just gives in a little more ooph}, but I’ve also used ALL mini white pumpkins as place cards, and it turned out beautifully. At the end of the day, hosting your friends + family is supposed to be fun, so don’t overthink it.
