Last week I shared my bra fitting experience with Chantelle {a Paris based lingerie line}, and today as part of my VERY FIRST Wedding Wednesday {eeeeeek! more to come I promise}, I’m sharing my favorite 5 bra styles I selected from the fitting. And more importantly why I chose these 5 to add to my bridal bra collection. Not to worry – if you’re not currently getting hitched, these beautiful ladies + styles still apply to you! Every women needs a good bra {or 5} right?!
Probably the most ‘bridal-esk’ of my choices, the Meric Demi Bra. I just couldn’t resist picking up a pretty little white bra. The sheer lace pattern + detailing is just stunning. And so soft! I typically stick to lined bras, but this lace is surprisingly really comfortable. It think that speaks to the quality of the lace + fabrics used by Chantelle.
My typical go-to bra for a night out of even around the house. I’ve never had a large bust, so when I started wearing bras I naturally gravitated towards push-ups for that extra support and ‘umph’. I love the grey Satine Push-Up because it not only gives me that support I look for, but the coloring and lace placement is truly stunning on. I feel like these pictures don’t do it justice. The deep plunge and lace embellished straps with scallop edges…ahhhh, it’s the perfect combination of sophistication and sexy.
The Irrésistible Multi-Way Push-Up style is actually one of my top favorites out of these 5! It may not be the most intricate, but oh. my. goodness. is it comfortable. It has a microfiber band that literally feels like you’re not even wearing a bra. And the straps are convertible, so you can wear crossed for even more of an enhanced push-up.
Ah, the t-shirt bra. Every women’s best friend for the everyday. My typical day-to-day, sitting at my home office attire, usually starts with a t-shirt bra. So, I opted for the Illusion Demi T-Shirt style – it’s comfortable for long wear, but still has a little pizzazz with lace detailing. I’ve actually never been able to find a lacey t-shirt bra where the lace doesn’t show through, until now! Seriously, this flat lace overly is surprisingly smoothing and doesn’t show at all. Plus the neutral color + more of a deep cut bust line makes this perfect for crew and v-necks.
A no-wire bra is perfect for those lazy days where you still need some support, but want more of a natural bust shape. The Vous et Moi Wirefree Spacer Bra is also perfect for working-out.So now that I’ve shared…do tell – what’s your favorite bra style{s}?!
p.s. score some pretty little Chantelle for yourself. Now – the end of December, the brand has a Pinterest contest happening: giving away a bra each week + the opportunity to win a $500 gift card.
Chantelle bras are the only bras I own and wear! I absolutely love their styles and designs. They are able to accommodate a rather large size without looking “old” or “raggedy”. They make me feel absolutely beautiful 🙂 Love this brand!
