Ah, Monday. We meet again. Although on this particular Monday it’s a happy one. It’s been a great weekend: back home in Charleston, good weather, long walks with Parker, family Chili Party, shopping on King Street, and got lots of work done. Yes, work. But when you love what you do, it’s not so bad. Not to mention, I sometimes really do enjoy working on the weekends since I’m not getting any incoming emails or requests. I’m sure some of you can relate.
So, let’s get to the main reason y’all are here – this cute little navy check coat here. This Draper James number is a great weight for fall, and perfect for layering with your favorite turtleneck. I wanted to brighten up the look a tad {seemed fitting for the sunshine} with white denim as opposed to classic blue jeans. Love how the camel/cognac warms everything up and adds a sleeker more tailored texture.
Moving on to something totally unrelated to the navy check coat here. I must know – how do y’all feel about all the Christmas decor that’s happening right now? I mean, yes it’s mid-November, but what about Thanksgiving people?! Maybe I’m bias because I’m hosting at my home this year, but all the red + green going up everywhere is just too early in my opinion. Give me all the orange and pumpkins until the day after Thanksgiving. Who’s with me?!
