Happy Monday, y’all! I returned from a fun weekend in NYC last night, and low and behold…spring has officially SPRUNG in Charleston! Hip hip hooray! I swear, I haven’t felt these warm weather temps in months. It literally wasn’t even this warm when I was in Cabo last month. I even drove around today, sans AC just to feel the warm radiating, hahaha. Never thought I’d say that, but it was just too good. I’ve got my fingers crossed for this to stick around all month. Sorry New Yorkers, I feel for y’all.
Fitting for the weather, this green stripe mini dress is just perfect for your entrance into spring. I’ll admit, it is a bit on the short side. Even for a shortly like myself {standing at 5’2 over here}, I felt like it was on the verge of too short for everyday wear {could also be perfect for the beach}, but paired with a flat I felt it worked well. Not to be repeated on a windy day, haha.
Aside from the length, which might only be an issue for some, the thin fabric and ruffle detail is too good to pass up for the price point. I mean, under $25?! Done and done in my book. I went for a neutral accessory pairing here: beige linen espadrilles, along with a slightly darker hued crossbody for a tinge of contrast.
