Let it snow! This FL gal was in for a real treat yesterday as I woke up to a furry of snow flurries at my parents’ house in CO. Yes yes, although I grew up in Colorado, I’ve been away from the cold weather for so long that I do miss it from time to time. There’s just something SO beautiful about a morning snow, bare tree branches dusted with frost, and watching it slowly melts away as the sun appears.

Naturally, I couldn’t pass up such a moment for a wintery shoot. I have a soft spot for vests in my wardrobe {clearly. as I’ve demonstrated here and here and here}, so when I laid eyes on this uh-mazing Karen Kane faux fur vest I was smitten. Having worn Karen Kane several times in the past, I know their pieces are made with quality. I even went on a tour of their US based factory a couple years ago, so cool, but alas. Sure enough, KK did not disappoint. This vest is ultra soft + cozy, giving just the right amount of warmth without being too toasty.
