Winter Glow

Happyyyyy Monday! So ironically, I’m writing this from the mountains of Colorado – day dreaming about poolside chats + oceanfront views {don’t get me wrong though, I’m loving the wintery change up}.

Living in South Florida, I literally have backyard access to two of the top international vacation destinations – Miami + Fort Lauderdale, yet it’s easy to take that for granted {I know I’m guilty}! We tend to get so caught up in our own lives, work, to-do list, etc. that we completely negate all of the amazing possibilities right around us. So when I had the opportunity to visit the Espa Acqualina Resort & Spa on the beach in Sunny Isles {just a hop, skip & a jump from my front door}, I figured why not. Boy was I in for a treat…

My bestie {also travel blogger behind Currently Exploring – check it!} + I popped over to Acqualina’s 4.5 acre beachfront property to visit the ESPA for a relaxing day of treatments for their ESPA ‘Winter Glow’ Package. I think every girl {or at least every girl I know} gets into a funk about her skin in the winter time. ‘Its pale, its dry, its lost its’ luster’…I know I struggle with it, and chances are you know the same feeling. The ‘winter glow’ was the perfect pick-me-up; starting with a full-body exfoliating treatment {goodbye dry, dead skin}, followed by a rejuvenating facial. Relaxing by the pool + enjoying an oceanside lunch at the resort’s exclusive members-only restaurant were just add-ons to an already splendid morning. We felt so relaxed + ready to take on the week ahead!
