Hi there, Kristin Chambless here! I’m a 30-something, Colorado-raised, Florida educated natural blonde living in Charleston, South Carolina.

I launched LivingInColorPrint.com in 2012 for two reasons: 1. I yearned for a creative outlet during my 9-5 days as a Marketing Director at a real estate firm. And 2. I had just moved to South Florida and needed to feed my extrovert-ness with an excuse to attend events around town {of course sipping champagne in pretty dresses didn’t hurt the cause} and meet other like-minded women in my new community. I honestly didn’t know what the heck I was doing, but had a ton of fun experimenting along the way. Little did I know the doors it would open, and the opportunities that would come from what started as a hobby! To this day, I’m still amazed I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to do something day in and day out that I love. But if I’m able to inspire a few along the way, that’s the true pure joy that makes my heart sing.

After 5+ years, transitioning to COLOR by K seemed like a natural progression for the brand. A place where I could continue to share fashion inspiration, but expand on things like travel, home decor + beauty that appeal to me in my daily life! The site will always contain lots of fashion, but fashion isn’t what makes me me.

Yes.

Who takes your pictures?

I’ve worked with a few phenomenal, talented photographers over the years {always credited at the bottom of each post}. Whenever I travel my husband, Mom or friends usually pitch in!

What camera do you use?

When I use my camera – Canon 5D, along with a 35mm or 50mm lens.

Where do you live?

Downtown Charleston, South Carolina

Where are you from?

I grew up in Colorado, went to High School in Tampa, FL + college in Talahassee, FL {go noles!}.

Where did you go to college? And what did you study?

I graduated from Florida State University in 2011 with a degree in Media Communication Studies.
