Hello, 29.

Another year has come + gone, although this is one of those birthdays that doesn’t feel all that different. Anyone with me on that? I keep getting the comment like, oh next year is the big 3-0?! Meanwhile I’m thinking, let me get through THIS year people! Anyhow, thought I’d take this as an opportunity to share 29 things you may not know about yours truly. There’s always a fine line between sharing too much or not enough online and via social media – a line I struggle with a little. I love connecting with y’all though, and hope this shows a little more {lighthearted} insight into what makes me – me!

1. My Mom + I share the same birthday! Happy Birthday Mommy!
2. I’m not a coffee drinker.
3. My go-to starbucks order: grande iced chai latte with soy (I usually prefer almond milk, but not Starbucks’ for some reason).
4. I played varsity tennis throughout high school.
5. My first job at age 16 was at Super Target – still love this place to this day!
6. I have a little obsession with llamas and alpacas – if only Sterling would let us get one as a pet.
7. Favorite color of all time = Yellow.
8. Favorite color to wear = Blue.
9. Wine is my drink of choice – maybe that one’s not so secret.
10. When I go the liquor route, it’s usually vodka but never tequila.
11. I’ve been wearing glasses since I was 3. Awful eyeballs over here.
12. Shoes are my fashion weakness.
13. Flats vs Heels? Flats on my day-to-day, but I do love a good heel when appropriate.
14. I’ve always preferred online shopping to in-store shopping. So much less pressure!
15. I’m a TV addict. It’s so bad y’all! Total binger right here. I partially blame this on the fact that we didn’t have cable growing up haha.
16. My favorite movie is always a toss up between Pride + Prejudice (the original Jane Austen version of course – not that Kiera Knightly garbage), and Gone with the Wind.
17. I have 3 things I’ve always wanted to learn to better myself: calligraphy, floristry + sewing.
18. I’m a terrible cook in the kitchen, but a pretty mean baker.
19. Favorite flower = tulip
20. Salty vs Sweet? Sweet
21. I’m a legit cookie monster. LOVE pretty much any cookie, and they’re always my go-to sweet/weakness. There’s truly nothing better then a gooey, homemade chocolate chip cookie.
22. I’m not a big fan of cruises.
23. I would opt for an adventure vacation over a beach vacation. I like to get out and explore!
24. My ‘must travel’ list is way to long for this post, but top 3 on my list I would say are: New Zealand, South Africa and Holland.
25. I like exploring in big cities, but off the grid is always my favorite.
26. I’m truly afraid of butterflies and moths {dragonflies also kind of freak me out}.
27. I have a terrible habit of biting/picking my nails…it’s bad. And yes, I’ve tried all the things to break the habit.
28. I do want kids one day, but don’t feel any rush.
29. Getting older doesn’t bother me in the slightest, it only gets better and better from here.
