I recently returned from Cabo, Mexico, and instead of doing the usual pre-trip packing post, I thought it would be fun to mix things up and share my unpacking from Cabo! Because, let’s be honest, I’m guilty of over packing almost every single trip, and there’s no way I actually use everything I bring.

DAILY BEAUTY
Finding beauty products that can be used during consecutive days in the sun is super important when you travel. Whether I’m visiting somewhere cold or hot, I have different + specific products I bring for each occasion. For Cabo, my key 3 products used daily included:
- eos Crystal Lip Balm | I’ve always been a big fan of eos lip products, so when they reached out about their new launch – the Crystal Lip Balm, I was all in! The formula is light {not too heavy on the lips}, which makes it great for re-applying throughout the day. Both flavors smell great, but not too overpowering {I hate when I can ‘taste’ my lip balm all day}. Find eos near you!
- Dry Shampoo | A classic beach-side, beauty must have. This ‘light tone’ option is my favorite, and totally worth the price.
- SPF Protection | I don’t typically wear a ton of makeup when I’m on a beach vacation. A little CC cream + translucent powder with SPF {how amazing is that?!} goes a long way.
CABO CLOTHING
This was tough for me to narrow down, but if I had to share 3 KEY pieces I loved wearing multiple times throughout this trip, hands down would include:
- Brixton Hat | This is by far the hat of the season to get your hands on! So affordable at under $50 + great size range.
- Sunday Somewhere Round Sunnies | I just love everything Sunday Somewhere produces. Their shapes + colors are unparalleled. Every now and then you can score a pair on a good sale, like these white round babies! Also available in navy + brown. I swear, you’ll want to wear them everyday!
- Tank Dress | Wear this coral beauty {here’s another option under $100} to the pool and out to dinner. The style is a great, versatile silhouette you can rock from day to night while on vacay.
