Your wedding day. It’s monumentally special for not only you and your spouse-to-be, but also for the dozens of family members and close friends who came to support you on such an occasion. None probably more important then the Mother-of-the-Bride {AND Groom}! So today, with another installment of Wedding Wednesday here on LICP, I’m partnering with Jared the Galleria of Jewelry to showcase a few pieces I think are perfect to gift those special Moms on your big day! Don’t get me wrong, the day is still focused on you + your significant other, but I do think it’s important to show your love and appreciation to the special women that helped you {as a blushing bride} get to this point in your life – about to walk down the a isle to exchange vows with the man who holds your heart.

For me personally, I opted to host an intimate ‘Bridal Luncheon’ at 82 Queen a couple days prior to our wedding day, rather then gifting on the day of with so many moving parts happening. It provided me the privacy and time I wanted to give each individual member in my Bridal Party, along with our sweet Mommas, the respect they all deserved for playing such a huge role in my life {at some point or another}. And with that, I wanted to share that appreciation not only with words, but with gifts.

Earrings were a great choice of gift for my gals – they’re small, yet timeless, and something your Moms will cherish forever; never forgetting when/where they received them, and the meaning behind that special time. Not to mention, they’re a bit more affordable while you’re still on that wedding budget! Trust me…been there done that. Haha. I selected classic piece like this Diamonds in Rhythm setting for my Mom. I felt the drop style was perfect for a formal occasion, would pair perfectly with any color, and add an elegant sparkle near her face with an updo. For Sterling Mom, I opted for a subtle stud. She’s not a huge jewelry wearer, but had expressed wanting to look and feel her best for the big day – which included the addition of accessories! Naturally, I was thrilled to help out in that department! She cried with joy {such a softy, I love it} when she opened her gift. The Earthly Treasures Smithsonian stud was a perfect touch to her black + white gown, and something she can truly wear for any occasion moving forward!

My Mom actually just sent me a picture the other day, sporting her earrings I had gifted her!! Truly made my heart smile.
