That dreaded section of the store….swimsuits. I don’t think I’ve ever met a woman who was not at least somewhat hesitant to go bathing suit shopping. You can be the most confident women at the workplace, or Mom on the soccer field, but we ALL have insecurities when it comes down to it. Those physical insecurities specifically tend to be magnified while looking at ourselves in the mirror, scarcely clad in waterproof fabric. Today, I’ve teamed up with Target for a fun #NoFomo campaign, that had even me outside of my comfort zone {first. swimsuit. photoshoot. published. eeeeek.}black and white stripped one piece swimsuitblack and white stripped one piece swimsuitlaser cut grey and lavender target swimsuitgrey, orange, and metallic triangle swimsuitGrey ruche swimsuit bottom laser cut grey and lavender target swimsuit

Target has always been a go-to for swimsuits for me. They’re colorful, affordable, and have a crazy good selection of varying fits/cuts. This past week I found three styles in particular that I loved. #1 the triangle top with orange + gold embellishments. Perfect for a small bust {hi, that’s me.} and less coverage for sunbathing. #2 the laser cut design grey + lilac bandeau top. Bandeaus are my comfort zone for beach days because they have fewer strings to worry about and are, again, good for a small bust and are perfect for minimizing tan lines. I also picked up a great slate grey scrunched string bottom that matched both tops perfectly. I think the scrunched look is really flattering for a larger bottom {more of a pear-shaped body type}, and it’s always a win-win when you can pair a bottom with two different tops! #3 this uh-mazing crisscross stripe one-piece. Probably one of the most flattering one-pieces I’ve ever seen. The illusion created by the stripe placement along with the overlaying fabric crisscross makes for an incredibly slimming effect – perfect for any body type. Plus the nautical stripe look is super on trend and easy to accessorize.

Shopping in store is great, but don’t forget about online options as well! Target.com has free shipping + returns, allowing you to try on suits in the comfort of your own home.

I was just eyeing some new suits at Target the other day! I love the striped one-piece! — SC at http://www.samanthachic.com

Really love the striped one piece. I might have to try a one piece rather than a bikini this year!

I love the one piece! I have head my eye on a stylish one piece and this one fits the bill.

I really love that one piece! After having two kids, even after losing my baby weight, my tummy isn’t exactly two piece worthy, so I feel more comfortable in a one piece and that one is super cute, so I’ll have to try that out!

You look AMAZING! I love that striped one piece and can’t believe these are from Target!
