This past Thursday I had the honor of not only attending the greatly anticipated Fashion Bloggers Do It Better 2 {Summer Edition} event, but also walk the runway with several fellow Miami bloggerettes! It was a fantastic event – major props to Annie Vazquez of The Fashion Poet and Simonett and Eugy of The Goodwill Project for coordinating the entire event. It can’t be easy when you have 15 blogger models, 6 boutiques, and over 450 RSVPs! Needless to say, these ladies pulled it off gracefully.

A little peak at my runway debut rockin’ a neon yellow dress from GG Boutique
I arrived on the scene early to get pampered for the event – hair, makeup, dressing, all that good stuff {what girlie girl wouldn’t love that?!}. The Cutler Salon did an outstanding job making all of us feel beautiful as well as keeping the boutique’s vision in mind. I donned a chic to-the-side bun {fishtail braid wrapped and fluffed} to complete my evening look. The ladies of Beauty for Real added the perfect amount of lip pop and shimmer to finish my look.
As the event neared, guests began to pile into the venue and we were shuffled to a separate space to get dressed, complete final touches, and of course take pictures before our runway debut. I was seriously so nervous/excited, but as I stepped into the stoplight all of that sort of went away – I just kept saying to myself ‘walk slowly, make eye contact, pose, and DO NOT FALL…’ SUCCESS! I’m definitely not saying modeling is my next career move, but it really was a ton of fun and I wouldn’t mind doing it again if I had the chance 😉 hehe
