It’s here, it’s finally here – my office reveal! Just in time for us to move haha {2 weeks and counting}. So if y’all remember, this space in our townhouse has come a long way…oh hey circa 2013. As you can see, some things have remained the same – can’t seem to part with my neutral ikat chairs or gold candle containers I made into marker holders, but a lot has changed. Like, the addition of my infamous {ok kind of, not really…only if you follow me on IG} SHOE WALL!!

I’ll admit, it took Sterling quite a while to come around to this whole concept of building a floor to ceiling wall of shoes. But if you know anything about me, I’ve had a shoe obsession my entire life {yes, even pre-blog}. As my collection continued to grow {even with monthly donations leaving the house!}, he came around to the fact that this built-in was truly a fantastic use of vertical space {i.e. getting my shoes off the stairs and floor of our bedroom}. I worked with a local contractor to make the shelves adjustable {slanted or flat} for re-sell purposes, and the dimensions to the tee in order to fit as many heels as possible, along with some storage down the center. I couldn’t be happier with how it’s worked for us this past year. Granted, I still have to clear out space to make room for new pairs regularly, but I’m getting better at eliminating old styles that I can live without. Now that we’re about to leave this beautiful space behind, I’m already plotting my next office/closet renovation…on the to next!shop the post

This office is super cute! The shoes are to die for! Love them!!

And here I was wondering how come you never have any shoes on Poshmark (since you actually wear my size), now I understand 🙂

This space is perfection, I love the color hues from one side to the other. Organization makes everything better. The hydrangeas, my favorites, make the room cozy. Congrats on this and convincing Sterling to take the plunge and do it.

Such a cute space, but so sad you’re already packing it up! That happened when I did my home tour last year….moved one month later. Whoops!
